Trisha's Bollywood debut Khatta Meeta turned out to be a box office disaster and the actress wasn't completely happy with the reviews. However, the actress doesn't seem to be disappointed as her performance in film got rave reviews.
The actress is busy shooting for Kamal Hassan's Manmadhan Ambu and Hindi version of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. Manmadhan Ambu will release for Diwali 2010, probably six weeks after Rajini’s Enthiran!
South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan, who made her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar-starrer Khatta Meetha, is angry after her name was dragged in a drug scandal and thinks it's an attempt to tarnish her image. Trisha thinks this an attempt to malign her name in the Telugu film industry.
The actress decided to act on this immediately and got her lawyer to issue statements to all television channels. She also took legal action against this particular channel, which she believes is unnecessarily linking her name to a drug peddler.
Daggubati Rana, Kamna Jethmalani, Trisha, Charmi, Poonam Kaur, Madhushalini, Saira Bhanu, Uppalapati Ravi Srinivas, Bobby alias Nanduri Uday, Raja, his friend Sushant and Nani of the film Ashta Chemma were amongst the ones who were found in the contacts of the drug dealer.
